INKO Celebrates its 25th Anniversary: A Tribute to its Legacy and Commitment to the Future

On Thursday, November 21st, INKO, a kitchen furniture company based in Coín, celebrated its 25th anniversary at the exclusive event hall of the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Hotel in Benahavís. Founded in 1999 by Juan Carlos and José Manuel Pabón Agua, the company has maintained its family spirit intact, supported by the unwavering backing of their loved ones, which has been key to their success. The evening was a tribute to the founders' sacrifices and their strong commitment to a promising future.

A Celebration of Values, Journey, and Future

The gala was attended by family members, clients, suppliers, the commercial team, and employees. Among the distinguished guests were the Mayor of Coín, Francisco Santos, and the Councillor for Industry, Miguel Vázquez. They were all welcomed by the founders and the second generation of the family, who currently lead the company.

The celebration began with an emotional welcome speech by Fran Santos, who addressed the audience on behalf of the management. In his speech, he highlighted the core values that have guided the company throughout its 25-year history, such as family support and a strong commitment to the Coín community.

A Tribute to INKO’s Journey

The evening continued with the screening of a video that reviewed INKO's beginnings in 1999 and its evolution into a sector leader. During the event, the founders shared anecdotes from their early steps, creating a sense of closeness and connection with the attendees, while reflecting on the challenges faced while building the company. These moments sparked reflection and emotion.

A highlight of the evening was the tribute to key figures in INKO’s history, such as José Luis Sánchez Millán, Juan Carlos Bernal Lara, and David González, who have been fundamental pillars since the company’s inception. In recognition of their dedication and hard work, commemorative plaques were presented, accompanied by videos showcasing images of their journey, from their beginnings to the present day, highlighting their contributions over the past 25 years.

Recognition was also extended to the entire team, underscoring their commitment, collaboration, and hard work, which were essential in achieving this milestone. Without their support, this achievement would not have been possible, and their role will continue to be crucial in shaping the company's future.

Recognitions and Special Moments

A standout moment was when Juan Luis Salvador and Sebastián Acedo, President and Director of the Spanish Kitchen Furniture Association (AMC), presented a commemorative plaque to INKO’s founders. This recognition, awarded by the leading national association in the sector, emphasized INKO’s positive impact on the kitchen furniture world.

Carlos Mulero, INKO’s Commercial Director, and Juan Valera, Commercial Delegate for Catalonia, surprised the founders with a special gift on behalf of the entire commercial team. This gesture symbolized the deep gratitude and unity of the team at this key moment for the company.

The Second Generation Takes the Reins

An especially emotional moment came with the speech of Jessica Pabón González, Juan Carlos Pabón Bernal, and José Manuel Pabón Bernal, who now lead the company, representing the second generation of the family. In their speech, they shared their vision for the future, focused on sustainability, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. They thanked all the attendees for their presence and support while reminiscing about stories that moved everyone present.

The ceremony continued with a gesture of recognition: the five family members present handed flowers to the founding mothers and commemorative plaques to the founders, thanking them for their essential role in the company’s history.

A Focus Towards the Future

Before their speech, the company’s new corporate video was presented, reflecting its vision for the future. This new approach not only highlights the modernization of their communication but also the growth and firm commitment of INKO. With over 12,000 m² of facilities, a team of 140 professionals, and a strong commitment to the environment—including the use of 100% recyclable materials and 25% photovoltaic energy—the company reaffirms its mission to transform lives through unique kitchens under the slogan: "Creating spaces, transforming lives."

A Memorable Closing

The evening ended with an emotional video featuring the grandchildren of INKO’s founders, who, with their spontaneity and charm, offered congratulations to the honorees. The footage, full of tenderness, not only brought smiles to the attendees but also deeply moved the founders, who saw themselves reflected in the gestures of their grandchildren.

After the video, a final toast was made by all the attendees, symbolizing the unity and family spirit that characterize INKO.

Past, Present, and Future

This 25th anniversary not only celebrated the company’s journey but also reaffirmed its commitment to the future, based on quality, sustainability, and dedication. The gratitude expressed to clients, suppliers, and workers was fundamental, as their collaboration and trust have been essential for the achievements and future success. This anniversary represents not just an accomplishment, but also the firm commitment to continue growing, innovating, and adding value.
